I've been hearing loads of rumours that Crossroads is set to end after poor ratings. Is this true, when will it happen?

Not sure about that, does it actually get less viewers than H&A used to ? One programme that I wish would get the axe is Neighbours which is in terminal decline. Thank god we have 2 Neighbours free weeks during Wimbledon.

FYI

I was in a meeting with Ian Squires, the MD of the Carlton Central region last week and he stated that both Carlton & itv were happy with the 'soap's' progress.

He said that they expected viewing figures would be quite low after its initial launch, but expected them to grow over the next few years.

After all, it's early days yet and Carlton/itv have no plans to drop the series!

Crossroads has had loads of trailers on recently during ITV primetime, which I think is mainly unprecedented for a daytime soap.

as far as i could gather, itv have alot of faith in the show hence the large number of trails at prime-time.

Do I dare say that I've been watching some of Crossroads!!!

I prepare to be shot down after that comment!!!!

I find it ok, but I do wonder where ITV will fit this other soap in later in the year.

I also will most likely be watching Home & Away when it starts agin.
