Admittedly I haven't watched Crimewatch for a while. It has Sian Williams covering for Kirsty Young, then Martin Bayfield as usual doing the e-fit segments, then surprisingly Sonali Shah covering for Jason Mohammad.
Unless it was right at the beginning, there didn't seem to be a mention of Kirsty's absence, and at the end Sian said "we'll see you next month". Has Kirsty left?

Sian mentioned a minute into the show that she was standing in for Kirsty.

That's fine, but she didn't say Kirsty will be back next month?

There isn't a new Crimewatch until July.
Takes a break Wimbledon month I think
Indeed - usually, the crushing feeling of the top British player losing quells any desire to commit crime, so there's no need for Crimewatch.
