I wonder which channels are carrying in Europe, as Cricket is only a sport recognised in the UK!

EDIT: Its Fox Sports International and Ary Digital

Here's the full list of broadcasting partners, from the ICC World Cup website.

Pity the site doesn't advise who is producing the TV coverage.

Well with the event well underway, time to comment on a few things...

Firstly, the BBC coverage has been OK at best. They have been clearly trying to make it a "programme" with features and interviews, when I imagine the majority would have been wanting to see the cricket. Also, they have taken the Channel 4 style of highlights - a few overs, then VO of host with some montage then back to the proper action - a bad move IMO. In addition to this, they clearly have taken one "important" game from the two and are featuring highlights from that and just a report from the other. Fine if it was just, say, 40 minutes important game to 20 minutes less important, but 40 and then 5 minute report is not good. Other than that, good to see the programme live and a fair amount of effort has been put into it.

Secondly - what a day! How have Sky been dealing with all the news (re Freddie and Woolmer)? I saw Sky News' breaking of the Woolmer story and my thoughts on that are in the Sky News thread. I wonder how they will deal with it on the highlights tonight...

Sorry for dragging up a relativley old thread and writing a fairly long post.
