Some strange scheduling concerning the first two episodes of Creature Comforts tonight on ITV1.

For more information on Creature Comforts check here for some broadband quality clips:-

And loads more information at the quality Aardman website:-

Notice how the Aardman logo in the top right has now acquired a Carlton star!

Some great downloads at the Aardman site including a great cow screensaver!

Just tried the link at itv.com and its great to see all the adverts in the top part of the sceen for SKY Television LOL - does ITV know that their website is advertising for the 'opposition' ?

If anyone has any Real Media widescreen ITV1 CC idents they'd be willing to share for TV Home, please get in contact! I've just seen another version before Design Wars...

It's a nice little website that, some good stuff there.

So, the first 2 episodes, "The Circus" and "Pets at the Vets" premieres tonight and then the remaining 11 episodes go out every Sunday at 7.20pm in the run up to Dec 14th when there is a Christmas episode.

I see they have scheduled this at 7.20pm on Sunday after Emmerdale and before Coro St - I have to say im impressed with how ITV has done this as its bound to get good viewing figures sandwiched between the channels 2 most popular soaps - it wont be woth people switching over to another channel for 10 mins before Corrie.

That’s the plan, but that’s if ITV don’t axe it or move it about before giving it a chance because of poor ratings.

I would have preferred tonight’s 2 to have been on back to back with the FILM on at 8:30 instead. Do ITV1 expect viewers to stay with them after episode 1 to watch the film before ep 2. I wont be. I'll go back to 1 at 9:45 (Or 9:50 cos you know the film will run late)

Every week before the episodes air it seems they'll be adding new wallpapers and screensavers of the creatures featured. Which is nice.

Will it be possible to measure a 15 minute programme in the ratings ?

Won't be between them for long as the Sunday episode isn't a permannt fixture

Isn't it ironic that a programme made by Aardman is being sponsored by PG Tips using Aardmans characters?

It was a good programme tonight, unfortunately missed it at 8pm, but I saw it at 9.45pm and it was good, my favourite one was with the fish which had the odd bottom teeth and speaking of his experience, I might as well dig out that Aardman Classics DVD later, as that has an episode of Creature Comforts on it; obviously from 1989 on Channel 4, but the quality is still high.

Aardman must be doing tons at the moment, as they're doing this, the PG Tips adverts, a Wallace and Gromit movie and then after that they still have to make another movie for Dreamworks. But keep up the good work Aardman.

It's vital to remember that the voices used are from genuine interviews, which makes it a lot funnier.
