That'll be a yes then..
There's a very blue background to the 2-way graphics, but no titles.

Do three-line astons usually look like that?

Yes, they look like the ones used on BBC World - the location one is different though.

Channel 4 News came on air "a minute and a half early". Five News didn't and completely missed it.

The ITV Evening News is now continuing on the ITV News Channel

Well the BBC made a pigs ear of the announcement of the result didn't they ? Laughing And that desk is shocking, didn't they have enough material to finish it off ?

LOL looks like a kids bookshelf with a couple of planks of wood ontop!

IDS has lost anyway! Channel 4 made that clear with a huge aston.

Not that the huge aston was needed. I think we all knew the likely outcome of the vote even before the result was announced.

Just looking at the recorded interviews (he was a great man - you know the type) the BBC have on their special, it seems they've been preparing for this for ages!

Well they've had plenty of notice. This has all been brewing up since at least before the Tory party conference.

Can anybody say there is anyone amongst the Tories that they would honestly like to see as the replacement ?

Howard - too old, and has something of the night about him

Letwin - a member of the public said he looked like a twit on the news earlier, probably sums him up

Davis - not a typical Tory background, but a nobody with little experience of anything

Teresa May - no Thatcher

Michael Ancram - Mr Bland, looks like a bank manager

John Redwood - Vulcan

Whoever get's it will only be a caretaker, because sure enough once they lose the election, we'll have this whole process again.

Portillo would be my choice, but he's not running apparently.
