Courtroom

Just saw an old episode of courtroom on C4... and was wondering if anyone knew whether it would make a return to C4/E4 any time soon?

I think I know what show you are on about, and I hope it DOESN'T come back.

It was made by Mersey TV.... to be honest I can see why you wouldn't like it. It seems it wouldnt be of interest to most people!

But basically, it was supposed to be a trial, and it was as if it was showing you through the key clips of the trial. After the ending credits, the jury would give the verdict and pass sentence.

Is that the one you're thinking of?

I only ever watched one episode of it... had someone out of Crossroads on it that day.

Says it all really.

It was a good cheap filler for daytime TV and far preferable to another spin-off from A Place in the Sun.


I don't think it has been recommissioned. I think it was actually axed half way through the first series and the "second" series late last year was actually just the unaired episodes.


The strangly addictive Come Dine with Me and the disapointing C oach Trip though have both been recommissioned for the Autumn.

I watched The Courtroom a few times and I didn't mind it, it proved a good alternative at 4.00pm, and was well acted and you could tell had high production values. Plus you also got to hear Charles Foster doing the voiceover at the end.
