I understand the argument for a Northern host, but really it's no more than 50 days filming a year, which isn't anything to moan about really.
26 years and god knows how many thousands of episodes is still incredibly good going though. If it is axed now (which it surely surely will be) I think that just leaves, erm, the news as the only programme left from Channel 4's first day. I wonder what would have happened if they'd have axed it after Richard's death in 2005, 'replacing' it with Deal or No Deal?
Just hope my Grandad can find something else to watch, he's 73 and was also a big fan of 15-to-1 when it was on!
