Hmm - not sure about that. Looks a bit too futuristic. Countdown needs to be a bit more cosy looking.

Umm, the not too distant future, maybe!

Well in a way it does. As according to Rachel in the interview, it revolves round along with the Letters board.
(Looking at the caps before, You can see the backs of both them when ever the one is flipped around... which is a bit messy?!)
Though it's doubtful that we'll see that happen on air.

The numbers/letter board arrangement looks better on screen than it did in the set pics, but Rachel's chair could do with being out of shot when doing the letters.

I can't agree with that, I think it looks very classy IMO and it's a very refreshing change from what we had before.

Looking at the promo the titles look pretty much the same as before but bluer to fit in with the new theme of course.

A repeat request - I'm still to see them show the promo on air.

From what someone said earlier in the thread the titles have just been recoloured rather than remade.

I'm assuming that the studio walls are not going to be that awfully dark colour and were only that colour because the lights weren't on them, otherwise that would be terrible!


I know I said this before, but now I've seen the set with better lighting, I've got to say it now looks a bit more like the Call My Bluff set and the bit and the letters and numbers areas look like a tiled bathroom!

I'm not too sure the leather chairs go with the set either, but they're probably slightly more comfortable than the older ones!

I was thinking Call My Bluff too.

I guess they aren't brave enough to change the colours of the letters again - last time they tried they were inundated with complaints.

There's definitely too much blue stuff going on in that corner (no pun intended).

I like the new desk - makes the old one look really dated.
