Why not just axe the show altogether and bury it where it should have been buried 25 years ago! Very Happy

So long as it isn't Brandreth. I reckon Paul Daniels would be a good choice but I think he has little patience.

Maybe they should do a Have i Got News for you! style, i.e. a new presenter each week.Smile

IMO the current Des has been much more suited to the programme than Des Lynham. Regarding getting in a younger presenter i believe this would damage the shows quirky image, and detract from the reputation it has built itself over the last 25 years.

Not really a valid argument, given that Richard Whiteley was - if my mathematics is correct - "merely" 39 when he first presented it.

I don't agree, I liked the show when DL was there, because he was quite funny, but when he left it became really boring.

I like the idea of Tom O'Conner. That's an interesting link.

Then, after him it could be Tom Baker, then Cheryl Baker, then....................

To be fair he hasn't been a guest on the programme for a while now, if anything probably far less since Richard died, but agreed, he's a good guest but wouldn't want him as host.

Surely you mean that he has "not a lot" of patience... Laughing
