So that means:

Monday: Hollyoaks, Emmerdale, Coronation Street and EastEnders
Tuesday: Hollyoaks and EastEnders
Wednesday: Hollyoaks, Emmerdale, and Coronation Street
Thursday: No soaps
Friday: Emmerdale and Coronation Street

I wonder how ITV will fill Thursdays in.

Possibly with repeats of Catchphrase and The Chase like they always do.

ITV using Gill Sans on their announcements? What next, BBC using FS Matthew for theirs?!

I hope all broadcasters use the opportunity to show more archive programme where they can and not just repeat their normal shows more often. They all have vast libraries to pick from, we don't need to see more episodes of The Chase, Come Dine With Me, Can't Pay and the majority of the daytime dross on BBC 1 just getting extra showings.

It was really interesting that BBC4 chose to place an episode of Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em into the schedule on Sunday evening at 7.30pm. I have no idea if this was a last minute change to try and add more light hearted comedy to perk anxious viewers up for a half hour or whether it had long been scheduled already.

It was showing on the Virgin EPG, so it must have been a planned change. The TiVo EPG runs on a 6 hour update cycle, so I'm guessing it was probably planned the day before.
I'd agree though - a scattering of these light-hearted golden oldies!

Random aside, I don't think FS Matthew isn't identical to 'ITV' - they're close - very very close, but not entirely the same (I can't remember where I read that btw, but fonts do go through versions). The big difference being the original 2005 'release' of ITV didn't have any italics character sets or weights.

I did see it in use recently but can't remember where, wasn't an ITV programme either (may have been a BT Sport thing?).

Catchphrase maybe, but I doubt it'll be The Chase since that's already at 5pm, no need for it to be at 7pm too. Tipping Point and Tenable can be ruled out for the same reason.

Maybe a repeat of The Chase compilation shows? or tamer Midsomer Murders episodes?

ITV still use FS Matthew or whatever variation they had of it, on some sporting programming, mainly the darts from what I've seen, and some end credits still have bits of this FS Matthew type popping in amongst the Reem.

Radio Times already has most of the new schedules up. https://www.radiotimes.com/tv/tv-listings/

The removed Hollyoaks episodes have been replaced with The Simpsons (which becomes a double bill). E4 have The Big Bang Theory in the 7pm slot usually used for the next day's Hollyoaks episode.

Monday's second Corrie is replaced by St David's - Britain's Smallest City. Wednesday's second Corrie is replaced by Paul O'Grady: For the Love of Dogs. Thursday's second Emmerdale is replaced by Griff's Great Australian Adventure, and EastEnders that day filled in by extending The One Show. On Friday, Vera is on half an hour earlier filling the gap left by Corrie, and EastEnders is replaced by Miranda.

Only the Tuesday and first Thursday Emmerdales are unaccounted for.

I heard over the weekend that RTÉ have stopped production for Fair City. The number of episodes to air it on RTÉ One is now reduced to twice a week. I also have some good news. My own neighbour who lives opposite me does not have Coronavirus at all. I saw him outside today walking into his front garden as normal. That's one person off my list who doesn't have it. But I also heard today that Claire Byrne of RTÉ News & Current Affairs has tested positive for the virus. I hope she gets well soon.
