Heard that Hollyoaks are returning to film in July. One of the last soaps to return, maybe they feel with enough episodes (enough at 2 per week until late July? ) they don't need to rush back. Apparently they plan to increase the episodes from 2 to 4 in September and not go back to 5 until 2021. I hope the ITV soaps take a similar approach and don't rush back to 6 too soon.

Hollyoaks will return to September which suggests they're taking August off.

the way I read it Hollyoaks would return to film in July and stay at 2 episodes until Sept and then increase to 4.

For fans of Ms Brown's Boys. I think a change in her reading the Newspaper scenes will be apparent later on in the year.

Wonder if C5 will catch up again with Neighbours considering they were a bit hasty to pull it when it has continued uninterrupted in Australia and they were airing episodes the same day.

Anyway just wanted to mention The Ranganation as it is a format I think has actually improved under lockdown conditions - seems to work better with the contributors via Zoom rather than in the studio.

The easiest solution might for Neighbours to go on a three week break on 10 Peach at Christmas then it can go back to same day airings on Channel 5 in January.

that's good news. I don't think they have been back further than 2012 or 2013 so far?

They've started going back further in the last few weeks. Think the oldest so far are Christmas 2005 when Clare tried to kill Max and this week they're showing the Craig and John Paul episodes from 2007, having shown one of the episodes from shortly afterwards a couple of weeks back. That theme has not aged well!
