Blimey yet another C4 Coronavirus show, last week's 9pm C4 news special only got 660k and last night's ITV lockdown doc only got 1.6m. I think there's a real fatigue for shows that are specifically related to Corona now.

Charlie Brooker is back with Antiviral Wipe. Just a one-off, but will be interesting to have his take on it.

This has to be the best quote in a press release ever:

Quote:
Charlie Brooker says: “The BBC asked me to supply a quote for the press release, which is what you’re reading now."

Personally I'd prefer 'Cunk on Coronavirus'.

Channel 4 went a bit mad with commissioning so many coronavirus programming, they were meant to showing another one on Thursday but it's been pushed back to next week and replaced with a Grand Designs repeat.

I do agree that audiences are already over coronavirus or lockdown programmes.

Yeah, the big screen is the giveaway. Suitably massive enough for social distancing, anyway.

I am so happy I have the GOLD, Yesterday, Drama, Dave and Alibi channels - COVID-19 programming free altogether. We all know the virus is out there, but we do not need it hammered into us every bloody day by all the news channels, news programmes, etc.

People want to escape into a happier world - the world of Only Fools and Horses, Dad's Army, Red Dwarf, Sherlock, Doctor Who, You Rang M'Lord, which the above channels provide.

Isn't Doctor Who on W, and not any of the five channels you listed?

To be fair, that's the production company's fault.
