If anyone's got a garden fete that needs opening, I think I've found your man! Wink

He's my friend on facefart.

No fooling.

Maybe you could ask him what happened to his plans to become a Tory MP. Didnt he appear on QuestionTime once, and was on Cameron's controversial 'A List' of prospective parliamentary candidates? He can't have been that serious about it if a role in Shortbread Street was all it took for him to abandon his political ambitions. Unless there was more to it??

Yes I recall that moment in his career.

Who knows. Perhaps he was asked, and was flattered and it went to his head.

But yes - I'll ask him.

They've been filming Corrie in Bradford over the last few weeks, with the town hall doubling up as Weatherfield Courts for Gail's trial.

From the scene I saw them filming today it looks like Gail is found not guilty, but apparantly they filmed two endings. (It's obvious she will be not guilty in the end anyway)

I'll be interested to see how it comes across on screen because what with it being Bradford, as soon as they started the cameras rolling, a load of chavs started making a load of noise in the background.

Is the two endings line not just a spin soaps get involved in?

In this case, how difficult would it be to get the actor playing the judge to say "guilty" and then say "not guilty" or something similar? The regular cast and crew would know the outcome of the story based on what else they have shot, but it would stop the extras and anyone watching the filming knowing the story line.

What about subsequent episodes that deal with the verdict, the extras in those episodes will notice if she's guilty or not. The two story ending line is a load of spin that many actually fall for.

Soaps always make sure good beats evil. In saying that, I really can't understand why Corrie has held onto John. To me, he is a weirdo, criminal that kidnapped and abused a young woman. Yet, he's living on the street as if nothing has happened. A turning point for Corrie in my view.

When I say, they filmed two endings, I think they just filmed two scenes of them coming out of the court, one looking happy, one looking sad, so no people in the crowd could go straight to the News of the World with an exclusive. The rest of the scenes which are filmed behind closed doors will no doubt all follow on from the one ending.

Tyrone is an idiot. Firstly, he couldn't even upload a video to YouTube on his own. Secondly, it turns out he wasn't uploading to YouTube at all. He was uploading to some terrible YouTube rip off that seems to give him the option to 'sign out' at the top of the screen and then says "Log into rating now!" below the video - so is he logged in or not?

I heard they were filming in Bradford, I wish I lived closer as id have been tempted to go along to see if I could meet Helen Worth - ive never met her and she is one id really like to meet. I think tonights Corrie was filmed when I was last at the gates in late Feburary as Kym Marsh walked out in the same outfit that she was wearing in tonights scenes.

I also met Ken, Kevin, Molly, Carla, Nick and Natasha among others. My highlight by far was meeting Ali King again who plays Carla. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs387.snc3/23641_1373718824437_1275800564_1069327_5986749_n.jpg
