The episode next Sunday is either because they only have 1 on Friday and the Easter Sunday episode was meant to be an "extra" episode or because as has been said there isnt one on the 15th. I would prefer them to show Corrie on a Sunday instead of 2 on Friday but cant see that happening regularly.
As usual it will be moved around due to the World Cup - they cant really avoid that.

What does everyone think about the storylines in Corrie at the moment?
Personally im not a big fan of the Gail in prison storyline - its too simular to previous storylines like Deirdre being wrongly sent to prison over 10 years ago.
Im looking forward to - that should spice things up a bit.
I am a big fan of Leanne and Peter so have enjoyed their storyline recently, however im glad they have rested them for a bit now (although I think they are back either this week or next). I also like the Steve/Becky storyline but think that needs to be rested for a bit too.
I like Rita so its great to see her back, and the storyline with Rita, Audrey and Lewis is quite watchable.
Carla hasnt done much since she returned - she is one of my favourite characters, i wish they would use her more. Not keen on her with Trevor either.

That's what I assumed, but Digiguide now showing Corrie at 8pm on the Thursday, with Emmerdale 7-8pm.
There will be no Corrie on 15th April because of the Election Debate, so that could explain why it is on next Sunday.

That would mean the make more since, as the debate could be held at 8.30pm - 10pm

Really boring, there's nothing interesting going on at the moment. I'm finding myself watching EE or Emmerdale.

I find the whole Gail in prison story stupid, I'm sure there are other ways to bring Tracey back in without resorting to implausable legalities (the fact they didn't spot Joe's injuries were caused by him being hit on the head by the boom, which they would have found when they examined the boat)
I've not watched it for a few weeks now

I'm quite enjoying it at the moment. The Audrey/Rita storyline is very enjoyable, Steve and Becky's storyline is good as is Leanne and Peter.
I would like to see less of the Platt's at the moment - the storyline is being dragged on way too long. I wish Tina would stop moping and Sunita should stop kidding herself she's got loads of friends on Coronation Street - if that were true why's she been missing for 4 years!

Did John Stape perform a lobotomy on Rosie Webster while he had her locked up in Granny's attic? Either that, or she took part in a clinical trial for an intelligence-enhancing drug which badly backfired.
Last night's scenes where she asked why Easter moved about each year, served no purpose other than to highlight her remarkable (and unbelievable) character change.
Perhaps she is supposed to be a thinly-veiled criticism of private education, or are they are just trying to morph her character into the 'bimbo model' stereotype which is almost as tired these days as Sean's mincing and flouncing?
If they really wanted to change her into something completely different, then they should've copied the tried and tested EastEnders trick: killed her off and brought in a a previously unmentioned close relative (who everybody knows) to take her place in the Webster household. It would've been more credible.

I'm enjoying the battle of bouffants at the moment
I find the goings-on chez Barlow are quite touching at present, and Craig is ever-entertaining.
Other than that, I'm finding the stories a little lack-lustre at present. I'm not Jonathan Creek, but I would've thought that forensics would've found Joe's blood/hair/scalp on that crossbeam? Well they might have done, if they hadn't allowed Gail to take the boat home with her
I think Rosie's transformation is to conform to airhead model archetype...although she's never been the brightest bulb on the chandelier-- part the reason why Stape abducted her wasn't it?
I've always enjoyed Leanne's character change: From stroppy teenager, to hard-faced and coke-snorting 'working lady', to a caring and positive de facto step-mother.
