Just gonna watch todays Jeremy Kyle show now - it sounds great!

That's the first time I've heard anyone say that about the Jeremy Kyle Show!

It was quite funny actually, although I did feel a bit dirty Sky Plussing The Jeremy Kyle Show.

I thought Tina was particularly good on it - very believable as a typical JK guest, and Graeme in the audience was especially funny. The All New Nicky Tilsley seemed a bit wooden though IMO.

Slightly off topic here but......

SBS6 has recently started showing Coronation Street - as I am off work today, I just thought I would see from which era they have started showing it from...... I just cannot remember the year.

Linda Baldwin has recently left
Peter Barlow has just started seeing Sally from the Rovers and he is only a cashier at the bookies
Sarah Lou Platt (the new one) is about 12 or 13
Kevin is seeing Molly the Social Worker (funny I forgot about that - he must have a fetsih about women called Molly!!!)
John Bowe (cant remember the characters name) was behind the bar in the episode I saw!

This will be about 2001. John Bowe's character was Duggie Ferguson.

I loved Edna Miller around that time, the lugubrious cleaning lady at The Rovers

Is anything up to a decade of back catalogue usual for a foreign sale?

Why don't they buy up to say 1990 or earlier?

we got our first view of a train on the viaduct for the first time since one fell off in 1967

funny how they went to such lengths to put the original street set in front of a real viaduct and we never saw any british rail DMU's trundling past

Aren't they trams that run up there rather than trains?

I agree 2001 was a great year for Corrie, what with the great Richard Hillman storyline and him hiding in Audrey's kitchen cupboard!

It was a tram not a train.

It was a tram not a train.

Indeed it was, and it had the correct 'new-ish' yellow livery, IIRC.

yes I meant trams, was just making the point that in 50 years of corry we've seen 1 train cross the viaduct and that fell off Rolling Eyes

anyway they've shot themselves in the foot with it because we've seen over the last few years that the viaduct has been curtailed and the brewery building runs across it so you can't suddenly have trams going across.

I know somebody's now going to get all narky with me for my continous reference to Corry's implausable continuity
