I think that was a brilliant live episode

oh, sorry, wrong soap Embarassed

Brings up the question though, will Corrie do another LIVE in December?

I think when the producer was on This Morning she said they won't be doing another live episode as they have already done it

Interesting, since The Bill has done it twice... OK not technically a soap, but similar-style programme. Has Emmerdale done a live one in recent years?

No. And isn't very likely to considering the village and interiors are miles and miles from each other. At least with The Bill/Corry/EastEnders, you could make it from studio to exteriors within 5 minutes.
You could of course have two groups of characters, one outdoors, one in, but that would make for odd viewing.

on friday's episode when the loan shark put the lit newspaper through Tina's front door it obviously set the smoke alarm off. Thing is in a set up like that with seperate flats / shops within the same building it's a legal requirement to have interconecting fire / smoke alarms so the alarm in Tina's flat should have set off the alarm in the Kabin

bit of snow in weatherfield tonight

bit of a time warp as well, when steve is on the phone to lloyd he's near the MEN and it's 9:15 whereas lloyd is in the cab office and the clock says ten-to-four

you'd think they'd make sure the clocks tally or there's no clocks in the shot Rolling Eyes
