I really hope her last scenes are brilliant and she goes out with a bang.

That's more likely to happen at the cremation.

It seems that not all the ITV regions got the caption:

Some people on the DS Soap forum are complaining they only got a black screen.

was very badly done, just stuck over the picture for a few seconds with the CA telling everybody she'd died, whilst it was on the screen Sad

should have been a proper silent one at the end

I imagine they may do a full tribute programme in due course. Maybe pair it up with Blanche's funeral meaning it will be many months before it is shown.

corry is filmed six weeks in advance so they would be filming early January at the moment, and this week's episodes were filmed in mid October so I doubt Blanche will be appearing much if at all

even last nights episode with ken being santa seemed to be lacking Blanche's presence

As has been mentioned they film a lot of stuff out of sequence and apparently she will appear in 2 more episodes? The filming schedules must be all over the place with them potentially filming stuff between 5-8 weeks behind.

According to the ever reliable DS, a "spokesman" told them there are a further two scenes featuring Blanche (filmed in October) - one on Monday and on Friday.

So this Friday is the final time we will see the wit and biting tongue of the great Blanche Hunt.

Something also hit me last night, when is it supposed to be Ken's 70th birthday?
