Or because it is impossible to schedule Corrie at 8.30, a 90 minute edition of I'm a Celebrity with eviction and News at Ten at 10.

The same happened last year.

Then don't have a 90 minute edition of Celebrity. That's a perfect solution for me Smile

PROTIP: For an easy way to clean your windows, cover them completely in black paint and leave overnight. Use a paint scraper to remove the paint (it will come off like paper) and the windows will be left spotless.

because ITV in their weird logic think that because corry is on before I'm a dead entity get me out of here that we will sit and watch it like preprogrammed zombies with no conceivable thought patterns of our own

that is like saying people who don't like fish will eat fish if you give them something they like to eat before getting them to eat the fish Confused

I have no wish to watch a load of-z list celebs who are so desperate for media attention the have to humilitate themselves in order to get some

I completely agree, Steve.

I actually suspect that this sort of schedule shuffling will simply disappoint Corrie viewers who watch the programme when broadcast. I doubt they are going to sit through 'I Want To Be A Celebrity...' for more than a few moments just because it's occupying the Corrie slot, or broadcast immediately after the rescheduled episode.

I do wonder what percentage of Corrie viewers are now using Freeview+/V+/Sky+ to record their soaps using series link. I only know one person who isn't using one of these facilities, so schedule shuffling is becoming an increasingly irrelevant tool for desperate broadcasters.

Many people now watch programmes when they want to, not when broadcasters want them to...so this idea of hoping that viewers will watch something because they can't find the remote control to switch channels is something of a fantasy on the part of broadcasters.

Can I just say that all these variations on the phrase "I'm a celebrity get me out of here" are, well they're just absolutely fabulous. Blistering, witty... the producers must be devastated, I tells you.

I think you should all be on panel shows, I do.

Or Digital Spy. Such humour would go down well with those who think it's clever, witty and not at all tedious to refer to '$ky' and 'Ofcon' all the time.

I catch up on the weeks Corrie episodes on a Sunday evening, via my XBox360. Mind you, this Sunday
is going to be a bit different with new Doctor Who and Top Gear on BBC One and Two respectively.

Indeed ... thanks to BBC iPlayer (and certain unofficial sources) I'm rarely enslaved to the TV schedules.

I do at least. Mondays and Fridays I'll record both the 7:30 and 8:30 Coronation Streets and start watching them at 8:15 - 8:20. When skipping the adverts I'm finished at 9.

I doubt the producers care at all.

However, some of their intended audience might though, and even be tempted to make unnecessary comments about it. I'm pleased to see that you wouldn't support such disruptive behaviour, Gavin.
