Corrie set to go head to head with EastEnders on Thursday 26th November, airing at 8pm (I'm a Celeb is at 8.30pm), with EastEnders airing an hour-long episode from 7.30pm. Emmerdale airs 7-8pm.

Is that confirmed yet with it being almost 3 weeks away - wouldn't surprise me if they moved Corrie to the Wed assuming there is no football.

Even if they did go head to head I dont care - I know which I'll watch Smile

Well it's up on Digiguide, but looking at the dates I guess confirmation will come next Wednesday (I was a week ahead of myself). If it does happen, I think they'd be better off keeping Emmerdale at 7/8pm with Corrie at 7.30pm No chance of beating EE if it starts half way through.

Well there is football that week so no chance of moving it to the Wed. However it wouldn't hurt them to drop it on the Thurd as we have an extra ep next Wed so they wouldn't be losing out.

I dont really care if EE do beat them - Corrie more often than not beat EE anyway.

The Norris and Horris scenes made me chuckle!

I believe its Samia Smith's last episode episode on 26th Nov so bound to be a big storyline between her and Tony - also I understand Carla is back week commencing 23rd Nov so Corrie will certainly put up a good fight in the ratings battle!

I thought Horrace was going to be permanent, I was also surprise by how short the story was considering how long the other two, Shela and the quiet one, were in the shop

I can see the writers are going to have fun giving Norris unsutable staff for the next six months

did anybody else think Kirk and Tyone putting fireworks on the factory roof was a bit iresponsible, there's enough d# heads out there who'd copy them

The preliminary schedules also see News at Ten pushed back half an hour on the Friday so Corrie isn't dropped, but really it would probably be better to move Thursday's Corrie to Friday 7.30pm, then air Fridays double bill on Sunday at 7pm or something.

Really though considering ITV know well in advance I'm a Celeb will probably want a 90-minute slot each night for it's last week, they should cut back Corrie as necessary that week and if absolutely necessary reschedule the episodes at a later date - perhaps have a couple of hour long Wednesday episodes or something.

Perhaps but I was more concerned about the fact we're actually supposed to believe the fireworks on the left side of the screen were real. I was laughing so hard the Tony-Roy glare didn't have an effect.

I can't wait to see what replacement they come up with for Noris.. another Phoenix Nights escapee perhaps? I suspect it will Frieda though.

I did think it was a bit stupid of Tyrone and Kirk doing that, especially with Tony only living a short distance away! I think richard-heads will do such things anyway-- they don't need Kirk's and Tyrone's encouragement (enough of them round my way)

The storyline of Freda stealing a prosthetic limb has to be one of the most bizarre in a good while. Confused
