I thought some of Uhmed's scenes were cringeworthy but some of the later stuff with Teresa was funny.

Its unusual for 2 characters to be linked so closely and never share scenes .

Excellent 2nd episode tonight. Almost took me back to the Richard Hillman era.

It was an excellent episode, was really on the edge of my seat!

"Corrie will be unmissable this week due to the return of an excellent actress", is what it reads in the banner currently. Who is exactly?

I suppose it means Carla/ Alison King.

I also thought last night's episode was really good. The bit in the cab with Carla & the music did remind me of somethink Emmerdal would do though!! Also why does it rain like it has never rained before when somethink bad is happening!!

I hope Carla is coming back - it looked as if she was leaving for good last night?

She forgot all about her car as well!

I've heard she's coming back in 3 - 4 weeks!!

Phew! She's great. I wish I could hop into a taxi late at night and expect to get a flight to where I want to go.

I don't remember Sunita being a particularly comic character? And I don't think Maya was that funny either, considering what she ended up doing to Sunita and Dev.

As for the gay thing: Karl Foster (hospital nurse who befriended Todd) wasn't a 'mincer' like Sean either, I recall?

On a side note, I note when Noris was scraping off Rita's name from the Kabin, he was interrupted by Tina... leaving "R Sull" above his head-- was this deliberate I wonder!
