That opening scene of them all reading the letter was well done, especially as it cut to Dev reading it in his usual style

Dev is incapable of delivering his lines in any other way.

I imagine that even the most emotional of death-bed scenes would be SHOUTED! Shocked

I don't know what was more annoying the other night.. Dev shoouuuuuting or that stupid shop doorbell!

Most scenes involving Dev or the Corner Shop seem to be simply padding for double episodes. They tend to detract from the programme rather than add anything meaningful.

I think the writers had a bit of fun with that doorbell, like when Sally walks in and it does a cow sound, or when Kevin and Molly nip outside it plays mission impossible

anyway tonights episode

how deep is a viaduct arch, that joinery was massive, and I thought R&R on eastenders was implausably large Confused

Just a heads up that BBC Radio 5 Live Breakfast will be broadcasting live from Roy's Rolls tomorrow talking to cast, crew, writers, producers and fans. She'll also be rooting around the wardrobes of the characters! Co-host Nicky Campbell will be live from London.

Amongst Shelagh's guests will be actresses Sally Whittaker (Sally Webster) and Brooke Vincent (Sophie Webster). She'll also be chatting to producer Kim Crowther. We'll be there, tweeting live from the set. Don't forget to join us!

Also, I think I'm right in saying Carla returns next week, I never thought I'd say this but I'm really looking forward to her returning and this storyline coming to a head. Should be fantastic viewing.

That's correct, Carla returns next Monday. I cant wait to see it all kick off after a boring few months.

Aye, especially that Owerleyanne's back; they became good friends in the end, didn't they? Rosie gets her comeuppance next week...

Luke scams Rosie out of her share in Underworld, after leading her to believe she is to become majority shareholder-- Luke then does a runner!

She was rushed to hospital for a critical live-saving operation over the weekend apparently. Hope she's ok. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s3/coronationstreet/news/a181729/corries-blanche-critical-in-hospital.html
