they did some audio flash backs with Mike Baldwin when he was remembering Alma

back to friday's episode, what day was it mean to be as Simon wasn't in school and Janice wasn't in work so I assumed it to be a Saturday, the Sophie and her boyfriend were in their school uniforms (at 2pm, long lunch break)

talking of soap actresses being pregnant it's quite bizar to think of Gloria Todd being pregnant with Craig Harris Confused

It was meant to be a Friday as Sally mentioned earlier in the week that her and Kevin would be going on holiday on Friday.

thanks Jez, wonder why Simon was off school then, doubt he'd get compasionate leave for a dead rabbit Shocked

Maybe it was a teacher training day which could explain why Sophie was in school. Or perhaps primary school kids don't attend on Fridays in weatherfield Wink

they don't do training days in school time anymore, they tend to happen before the new terms start

maybe Simon was just skiving Laughing

nice scene with Rosie and Sophie in tonight's episode

When did Rosie Webster have her frontal lobotomy? Five or six years ago she was above average intelligence, according to the socially ambitious Sally; but after years of poverty-inducing financial commitment by the Webster clan in sending her to a private school, she now seems to be the thickest chav on the block! Shocked

I wondered that when she was asking Luke what turnover was, if's she's a PA and she's been in the job as long as she has, then surely she would know what it was

That's a very good point! I think her brains have transferred to Sophie through some kind of osmosis... or all those tight dresses Rosie wears, have squeezed her brains out. Or perhaps eating all those baked beans over the years, has addled her mind. In the same way listening to tapes upstairs turned Tracey into a psycho.

How many times can Emily Bishop say "petulant" in one week?! Here's hoping she manages to drop it in tomorrow or Friday to make a hat-trick!

...there is no longer a Wednesday episode. Last night's was a one off (an episode was skipped on Friday last week IIRC due to football) and the OP just gave everyone - including me! - a heads up about it.
