I enjoyed tonight's episodes, apart from the curry-off (but that's probably because of Dev's uncle - how long is he supposed to be staying? He needs to go...)

It was very sad with Emily and Norris.

I thought Corrie had the perfect balance tonight, there were some really funny moments, such as Blanche as Gypsy Rose Hunt Laughing and the odd quip from different characters. And the obvious sad moments with Emily and Norris. 2 Excellent episodes tonight, well done Corrie!

He's finished filming apparently.

Tonight's episode in my area was the Barlow's all attending the Alcoholics Anonymous meeting with Peter. Blanche - totally hilarious character. Love her!

My friend Emma was at the studios again yesterday and met Craig Kelly for the 4th time - it was his last day filming. She also met Roy Cropper, Barry and Helen Connor (so they must be in it for a while) and Ryan Thomas. I was tempted to go up for the day as I knew I was likely to meet Craig with it being his last day but unfortunately I couldnt get time off work!! Wink

Im finding Corrie a bit average at the moment - roll on Mid October when Carla returns! Although Roy and Becky are fab!

Steve, the actor who plays Hootch is Dominic Carter - apparently he is in an advert at the moment someone was saying -dont ask me which advert tho!

thanks for the name there Jez

On IMDB the info for Dominic Carter has him in Corry, Mersey Beat etc, etc but an incorrect photo of the US news anchor of the same name Embarassed

I think it's Mersey beat I've seen him in

It was a classic indeed. I wish I'd saved that one.

I've haven't noticed any mention on here of the additional sets we have seen over the last week or so.

Emily's Parlour made an appearance last week (although not for the first time); but on Friday I noticed the front room of No.9 for the first time I can remember.

It was tastlessly decorated in true 'Vera style' complete with a 1970/80s sideboard unit and tacky coloured glass ornaments! Very Happy

I was almost transported back to my childhood! Wink
