I read an interview with Anne Kirkbride and if you want her to talk to you DON'T CALL HER DEIRDRIE!
she hates that and ignores people when they do that, which is understandable.

QED I think!
I remember when she was on Paul O'Grady (his show that is, not him personally!): Paul remarked she wasn't keen on publicity and such an interview for her was rare.
The nicest Coro actor I've met, was Roy Barraclough-- a real gent and a lovely person.

Tonight's episodes were particularly good in my opinion. They had everything, good writing, comedy lines, a Gail and Eileen slanging match, Tina joining in, Graeme and his comedy, the scene with Clur, Betty in a scene outside the Rovers, Audrey giving her opinions, and David meeting his match in the return of Gary Windbag.

I agree Andrew an excellent 2 eps tonight. And best of all no Maria constantly moaning or being all lovedup with Tony *vomits* - I really cant stand her now.
But yes the Graeme/Claire/Ashley scenes, the Gail/Eileen slanging match, so many scenes with Reet/Emily/Betty plus the return of Gary were alll highlights.

We had another Finbarr Saunders on Coro yesterday. Audrey talking about her hapless daughter's love life:
"All they have to do is appreciate her cottage pie, and she gives them the keys to the house". Fancy.
Graham is superb I think, Craig Gazey has wonderful comic-timing. Especially the way he chopped up that meat in the butchers

Im not a Craig Kelly fan and wont be watching - I would if a certain other former cast member by the name of Rob James Collier was tho.
Craig actually told us last week that he had another show lined up for after Corrie when we asked him but he couldn't say what.

Jez and other Craig Kelly fans will be pleased to hear that although he's leaving the street he is infact taking part in this years Strictly.

Not to mention "Is that what we celebrate in this house huh? lovey? If it had been B&Q she would have cracked open the biscuits"
Graeme is obviously a fan of Claire's. That's what he wants after a hard day butchering!

Just to annoy those who disapprove - my late night pic with Craig Kelly has just been emailed by my mate

I think Craig Kelly is a nice guy and seems very down to earth and friendly but I just don't like the character he plays and im not a particular fan but nothing against him. I had just been on a night out in Manchester and had had quite a few drinks so was quite tipsy! Thank goodness it wasn't someone I fancy like Rob James Collier that I met haha!
