I liked the scenes with Betty tonight - this week is actually 40 years since her first apperance in the show. Quite an achievement really as only Ken and Emily have been in it longer. Betty is 90 next February whilst the actress Betty Driver is 90 next May.

Regarding getting props- my friend (who is as big a RJC fan as I am) managed to get hold of one of Liam's
t-shirts -not sure how, think she bid for it online. Im not that bothered about getting his clothes unless RJC was inside them haha.... Smile

is there any way of stopping children asking silly questions we obviously don't know the answers to Rolling Eyes

how the heck do we know, ask Granada for pittys sake Confused

Maybe someone here works for ITV Studios or has some inside info on their whereabouts... Moron

How rude. Steve is a fine member of this forum, and doesn't deserve to be insulted in that fashion.

To be fair, Steve was being fairly rude too. Seems like a perfectly reasonable question to ask - and just because Steve doesn't know the answer doesn't mean someone else on here might... like Jez above, or me for that matter.

Anyway, to answer the question, they do give away some old props and items of costume from Corrie, but usually for charity purposes. A friend of mine won one of Cilla's bright pink tops in a charity auction a few years ago. It came with a tag from Coronation Street confirming its authenticity. I even tried it on. It didn't suit.

I have to say I am warming to the Windass family. Gary 'Windbag' is ok and Eddie Windass serves a purpose as the Les Battersby layabout type. Still not sure about Anna though, she ruins scenes in the café and Len has to go.

On the other hand, Sean Tully has been really annoying recently and should be axed

Yep I see the Windasses as being like the Battersbys also.

Despite the issues, I hope to see Bruce Jones back one of these days!

Ooh no, please no more Bruce Jones. He was always a terrible actor.

In other news, The Sun today is reporting that Bev Callard returns to filming next week. I'm a big fan of Liz, so pleased about that.

Not so pleased about...
...the prospect of another ultra-depressing sounding storyline involving drippy Claire. Details here.

Has anyone heard that Craig Kelly who plays Luke is leaving? Im glad, never liked Luke, he is so boring/pointless and he was no replacement for Liam.

I hope this means that Carla will get the factory back (especially with Gray O Brien taking a break for Panto someone will have to run it). I cant wait for Carla's return, Alison is back filming next month Smile
