Wasn't there talk of them opening it again?

They have nothing to lose really, although instead of opening 6 days and leaving 1 day for filming it'd be more like opening 1 day and leaving 6 days for filming

Charge £10 per head, employ a few staff, put a few signs up and barriers on the interior set, get a member of the cast to make a public appearance on a rota basis (I'm sure the likes of Anthony Cotton would do it for free), sounds like easy money to me.

They could open it on Saturdays as they dont seem to film then.

is corry having a rover's free week?

don't often get an episode with no pub scenes, let alone two

Don't often get an episode on a Thursday either Wink

Maybe it's not open on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Have this weeks episodes been airing as if they're on Tuesday and Thursday, considering the scheduling must have been known for some time, or is it obviously Wednesdays and Fridays episodes bought forward?

That actually sounds like a great idea - it would also let those who missed the tours first time round a chance to see the Street (ahem, myself included). Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't they open the set to the public a couple of years ago for a day, I remember it being called a "once in a lifetime" opportunity or something like that.

it ended with ryan being threated by the father of his girlfriend, good Christian values there Confused

so I guess it was the first part of the friday double

when the tours closed some wise bod said all the fans who want to have probably been to see it by now

so if you weren't born, tough Confused

At Andy Whyment's charity event one of the prizes in the auction was a VIP tour of the set for 4 people followed by lunch with Andy - we decided to bid £500 between us but carried on to £600 and then lost out. I think it ended up going for £700. I was gutted we didn't get it but over £200 each is a lot to pay (although I still would have lol!) Had it been lunch with Rob James Collier we'd all have bid a lot more Wink

I could imagine cars being sold, houses re-mortaged or rent going unpaid for that treat, Jez Wink

The subtitles are about 10 seconds ahead on todays episode. Odd. I missed the beginning so I don't know if they started off being ahead or if there was an extra scene or line of dialogue that didn't have subtitles for some reason. Did anyone watch from the start with subtitles?

EDIT: It now says 'We are sorry that we cannot bring you subtitles at the moment'.

EDIT: Subtitles are fine again for the start of part two.

Yup, no second epi this Fri.

Good point about Ryannnn's girlfriend's father. Has it actually been stated he is a Christian as well though? Confused

don't think it's been stated as such, just that she goes to the Christian youth group like Sophie and they have taken chastety vowes

then again Kevin is akin to thinking with his fists so maybe it's an over protective father thing

personally I'l rather my teen daughter had condoms on her than get pregnant at 15 (if I had a daughter that is) Confused
