Yes just seen it - dull as dishwater.
thanks for the correct listings, also noticed 'Coronation Street uncut' at 6:30 tonight, it's about why non of the male characters are circumcised
joking, it's an outake programme

They have closed down but occasionally people get tours if they know someone who works there.

I thought the Granada TV tours had closed down? On that Corrie-Uncut programme tonight it showed people walking around the Coronation Street set. I'm sure I read round here that the tours had closed?

Best thing about that outtake programme was Simon Gregson proving he's as hilarious off set as he is on.

the tours closed in 1999
what is annoying is that a Canadian corry fan club get ANNUAL tours both inside and out whilst us UK fans get nowt

Wasn't there talk of them opening it again?
They have nothing to lose really, although instead of opening 6 days and leaving 1 day for filming it'd be more like opening 1 day and leaving 6 days for filming
Charge £10 per head, employ a few staff, put a few signs up and barriers on the interior set, get a member of the cast to make a public appearance on a rota basis (I'm sure the likes of Anthony Cotton would do it for free), sounds like easy money to me.
They could do the same at Emmerdale but there may be something in the planning regulations for the exterior set. Tourists still go to Esholt even today.
