Well that was a classic episode tonight, Norris fleeing Mary and her attempt at seduction in the camper van.

Some fantastic dialogue in there tonight, presumably it was a Jonathan Harvey episode ?

Certainly replete with innuendo. Eileen's remark about Dev "sniffing his pink petal". Mary talking about stroking her "mu-mu", which turned about to be a furry monkey-- she was also worried about "a lingering smell of fish" in the caravan-- classy bird.

Cheers Roger. Yeah Craig Gazey is fab - deffo one of my faves. So glad I met him and glad about the award too - his acceptance speech was so funny. Samia told me that her and Ali went to collect Rob's award when I asked if she enjoyed the soap awards so I knew he wasn't there - but nice that he won and that Corrie won quite a few. Wish Alison King had won Best Actress tho - Katherine Kelly is great and plays Becky really well but Ali has been outstanding.

Also liked what Peter Whalley said about Corrie being the most watched programme on tv Smile If only Best Soap Award awarded to the soap with the most viewers eh!

It certainly was classic Corrie, and comedy that has been brewing for a while. I hope this isn't the last we see of situations like this. I'm sure there is plenty more for the writers to get out of this....

Before the derisors start: I do enjoy a bit of harmless innuendo thrown into the mix before the watershed. It made me laugh and I don't think many parents were left with red faces trying to explain inappropriate comments. I'm easily pleased when it comes to entertainment, obviously.

most children would accept that mu mu was the name of her monkey, most innuendo goes over their heads unless an adult tells them what it means Rolling Eyes

and as far as I know nobody complained about their little Harry or Harriett seeing a 20 foot high pic of nude dev

onto the soapy wards nice to see the lad who plays Simon nominated for best young performer (think that's the title) he didn't win, but there's always next year, Ellis Hollis is probably about nine now so he's out grown the cuteness but he's still a good actor . (seems to do a lot of crying Surprised )

I think it's good they recognise the child actors in soaps now and give them some story lines. Doesn't seem that long ago Kelvin Fletcher was getting awards for best young performer

I notice that Corrie episodes are being moved about for Britains Got Talent Week & Champions League Final.

Mon 25th May - 7.30pm & 8.30pm as normal
Tues 26th May - 8pm
Wed 27th May - no episode - Champions League Final
Thur 28th May - 8pm
Friday 29th May - 7.30pm only

So same number of episodes, just redistributed around the week, but weird to have Corrie on a Tuesday & Thursday.

You're welcome-- shall I pick up those names for you? Wink Seriously though, thanks for the insider goss-- I'm just jealous Laughing The only ones I've met are Roy Barraclough (true gent), also I have been literally knocked over by Sherrie Hewson! Anyway Alison King or Katherine Kelly would be worthy winners; although the latter has featured more this year, so perhaps inevitable she got it (out of those two).

I think Eastenders wins, because Coro viewers feel no need to vote for it to be best soap. Wink

@Stuart: I don't think the double entendres there, were any worse than you'd get with Paul O'Grady or Loose Women Laughing

"Everybody's talking about Corrie"? Bit similar to a slogan used for another drama serial which I won't mention...

The credits had the normal itv.com url on them today but also had u.tv and stv.tv as well. Is this new or have I just not noticed it before?

the corry street sign could do with a bit of tlc

and what is it with corry characters assembling bedroom furniture in the front room, most people assemble it upstairs just in case it doesn't actually fit up the stairs when assembled Rolling Eyes
