It showed the last scene of Monday night's Coro (first epi), with the narrator explaining how people's facial epxressions reacted to the news that Julie and Jason were half-siblings. The narrator described Deirdre's expression, despite the footage showing Eileen at that time!
thanks Roger, now I understand, all i could see was the little square you get when your video content isn't showing
and Julie and Jason are not half-sibblings, Julie and Eileen are half sisters, Julie and Jason would be half aunt / nephew
I like the Granada announcer at the end saying, "I wonder if Jason got that, Jase, she's your Auntie"
You're welcome
Yes, you're quite right about Jason and Julie, I'm obviously as slow as Jason! For some reason It had slipped my mind Julie was his daughter not grand-daughter-- how dim I am? http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z77/demaine_d/Emoticon/tumbleweed.gif
this makes no sense if you can't see the video

Woman hurt on Coronation Street set
A woman has been hit by a car during filming of Coronation Street.
The victim, a female director, was taken to hospital after the accident on the famous cobbles at 12.30pm on Friday.
Her injuries were not thought to be life-threatening, said ITV.
In a statement, ITV said: "We can confirm an accident occurred on the set of Coronation Street this morning during filming.
"The accident occurred as the crew were setting up for a scene which involved a small amount of vehicle movement.
"The female director has been injured as a consequence and been taken to hospital.
"No other member of the crew or cast has been injured."
The spokeswoman said ITV's health and safety team are investigating the accident and liaising with the Health and Safety Executive.

I read that too, vehicle movement during filming is always tricky as they may need to remove cars quickly between takes
remember when I saw corry filming in 1993 involving Sally, Martin, Rosie and David, between takes they decided to move Des Barnes car off the street, some guy jumped in and drove off nearly hitting the child playing david, luckily Sean Wilson was holding his hand and pulled him back

lol. Fortunately that was left entirely to those with a disturbed and fertile imagination. The rest of us were just treated to a picturesque long shot of a static barge on the canal; although Eccles' expression probably said it all!

I thought the episodes yesterday were superb. I didn't have to fast-forward through any scenes at all.
Ken's moral dilemma made for interesting viewing.
They are probably some of the most convincing scenes portrayed by William Roache for quite some time, although sadly they may have been filmed after the loss of his wife and been quite truthful about his attitude at the time.
so Old Ken's ended up in bed with Martha
that's really going to rock the boat
not to mention the barge

I noticed that but thought my mind was playing tricks and didn't think anything of it.
Perhaps he just misplaced them.

Early morning/evening scenes have the same daylight quality. Perhaps they think they can get away with them appearing as the same for the viewer.
never understood why soaps don't film morning scenes in the morning / evening scenes in the evening,

Is it me or did Corrie Omnibus (Granada aka ITV1) start late this morning?
I saw it on Monday but was out on Wednesday and Friday but it is now 10.13 and the bar scene at the end of Monday's 830pm episode has just shown - about 15 minutes after it should have been shown at it should have started at 9.25 and it seems it started at about 9.40
