About time really - although it would be better for them to use the credit crunch as an excuse, although Corrie being Corrie it'll be a story that plays out for a couple of episodes before the status quo is resumed - which is a shame, because it would be good for the character to move them away from their usual setting.

oh wow sun exclusive, that's going to happen then Rolling Eyes
I'm still waiting for Clare to drive a train off the viaduct )

To be fair, they're pretty accurate more often than not. And in this case, it seems pretty plausible given the storyline already seems to be heading that way.

That's because you can only do it once Wink

PS: Unless you're Harold Bishop or Dirty Den... not thought that through have I?

Of course it will. Like that time Jack and Vera sensationally split up... for about 2 episodes

I'm surprised The Sun bothered with the bit about Betty not actually leaving, they'd usually leave that bit out to create a better story

oh no, Tony thinks religion is for weak people Shocked

that will give the 34 bored Christians something else to complain about Rolling Eyes

Betty is a great character and has been in the show nearly 40 years - the Rovers without Betty just wouldn't be the same.

have the corry writer never seen football players AFTER a football match, particularly children's football matches

not only was Joshua sparklingly clean but so were his boots

and they've abandoned Freddie again, or maybe Casy's looking after him Shocked

and I thought Steve told Amy her Mam was in prison when she first went inside Confused
(looked back through the corry posts and didn't find any mention if it)

found a few comments by tvsouthwest about our arcane child acting laws

It's a shame there were only 8 minutes of decent Corrie in Friday's episodes - I had to skip through all the Dev scenes, as usual.

It was nice to see that Jack has a 'new friend' which will hopefully provide some good storylines for him. He needed someone other than 'Tyr-olly' to interact with.

Is it my imagination, or is Dierdre's cackle getting worse? It wouldn't go amiss in the cauldron scene in Macbeth! Confused

Not too mention Jack's cock/pigeon joke.

I'm sure I've seen Jack's female friend in Coro before... played a wife of one of Jack's pigeon-fancying mates if I recall? It's starting to bug me now Laughing

She's played 4 different characters in Corrie over the years.

I suppose this is the storyline to
re-introduce Betty as she's been off for so long, clearly she'll get her job back when Liz returns and Poppy will lose hers? - I've not watched it for so long now I don't even know who Poppy is!
