I often wonder who all these best mates are who ask soap characters to just drop everything and go on a last minute holiday Confused

now is Lloyds sudden departure something to do with a certain Mr Lister Wink

correc t me if I am wrong but doesn't corrie now have 2 actors who were regularly in Queer As Folk? - have any other actors from that ground-breaking dramam appeared in Corrie before now?

which two actors would they be bearing in mind we haven't all watched queer as folk Confused

Craig Kelly played Vince in Queer As Folk and Antony Cotton played Alex. Denise Black played Vince's Mum and who of course was Denise Osbourne in Corrie.

It was 10 years ago that Queer as Folk was on. I liked Craig Kelly in that but cant warm to his character all all in Corrie. And rumour has it Tom is leaving in a few weeks time Sad

Craig Kelly was also in the third series of The Grimleys, he's also one of the voiceovers on the TOTH sting on BBC Radio Manchester, not bad for some. Laughing

Craig Kelly was indeed in the Grimleys, took over from Brian Conley's character. Craig Kelly's character was Mr Treblecock; "trebbel-coe", a Cornish name apparently!

Going off topic slightly now - but if anyone hasn't heard, Network DVD are releasing the first series of the Corrie sitcom spin-off "Pardon the Expression", featuring Arthur Lowe reprising his role as Leonard Swindley:

IIRC it's never been repeated on television (I've certainly never seen it shown). Has anyone else seen the programme?

Ive never seen it (wasnt born when it first aired lol!) - wouldnt mind a look, its been referred to often in books etc but never seen it.
