Also a far more low key exit for Wiki's maturnity leave.

Yes, a good move on behalf of the writers to acknowledge Wiki's exit and make it part of Carla's bigger exit. Unlike with Claire who just wasn't mentioned for the best part of a year, isn't she due back soon ?

I think Claire should be back soon unless she is taking a full year off and wont be back until around July.

We also have Jane Danson going off any time soon.

Yes, hence why she's seen behind the bookies counter most of the time, and apparently where Kim Ryder will be heading shortly.

Interesting story juxtaposition last night I thought in amongst all the Tony / Carla confession was the bizarre running thread as to whether a macaroon is a cake or a biscuit. Only on Corrie.

Just checked and the lovely Claire is due back on screen on Friday 20th February. Yipee!

I was thinking about last nights episode and cant help feeling it would have worked better as a two hander between Carla and Tony (with Wiki and Maria at the end).

I agree. I loved the dramatic lightning effects at the end as Tony drowned himself into a puddle. Laughing

There was also another classic line from Blanche last night (on thinking Eileen was talking to her) "So how's your mother?" "Dead.. Oh her.."

I never said i took offence at your post Roger - I apologise if you thought I did.

I obviously deserve to be shot for fancying RJC (and not fancying Schaf) lol. Even my own fag hag winds me up about RJC but she is allowed to say what she likes about me. Wink

Wink Razz Smile Very Happy Laughing Razz That enough emotions for you. Wink

Well I never said that you did say that you took offence at my post-- keep up old fruit Laughing Apology accepted, and Michael Winner's advice applies Wink

Shot? Nay, just lightly spanked. Well as long as you don't say anything untoward about T Schaf.. after all he looked cute in his stripey pink tie today. Can't wait for Countryfile tomorrow Wink

Anyway back to Coro Cool ...

Yes, a bit of an Acorn Antiques exit for Wiki last night: "My father-- he's seriously ill in Poland-- I must go!", then went! I was expecting Fiz to say: "I thought your father had been shot in Dakar!" As has been said, least they acknowledged her disappearance, and she hasn't been put on regular toilet visits in Underworld's toilets for nine months.

Alison King was excellent in her last scenes, some chilling acting. "What did you put in Jimmy's sat-nav. Was it four letters? L-I-A-M?". It will be dull not having her around.

Speaking of Acorn Antiques, I'm still confused-- is a coconut macaroon a biscuit or a cake?

Clurr is going to be back for the Fred Elliot 'possession' storyline. Graham overhears Claire talking about Fred's distinctive speech pattern, and thus he gets the idea for the possession prank.

hmmmm, well I dont see anything attractive or cute about Schaf at all - and thats a fact. That not too untoward is it? No matter how much you talk about him I am never going to fancy him.......

Anyway back to Corrie and I agree I liked that bit where she mentioned putting LIAM into the sat-nav!
