I'm sure they wouldn't think twice of moving Betty's birthday if necessary.

well they made Sophie a year older and had that silly story line where she wasn't registered at Weatherfield high (probably because she was a year younger and still in year six in primary school Confused )

there was meant to be some storyline for her and Chesney which meant the had to be the same age but it never happened, or I missed it

now she is suddenly the right age for somebody born in October 1994 (14)

so if they can do it to a young character whom was born within the series I don't see why they wouldn't do it with an old character

So Phil "The Power" Taylor made a cameo appearance in Corrie last night. I forgot to look in the credits though, what was his characters name ?

It's been a few months now so what are peoples views on the Windasses then ? More potential then the Mortons ? Can't say I'm missing Sinbad's clan at all really - a good move by the producer to get rid.

I'm indifferent to the Windasses, to me they're like a Battersbys MkII, when they arrived in 1997. The mother is alright, but Gary is just Les Battersby-lite in my view.

I didn't mind the Mortons, I just think the problem with them was that there were too many Mortons.

I'm ashamed to say I have barely seen an episode since their introduction. I assume Gary is that blonde mop-top I saw when I glanced at the screen last night? Didn't look very appealing to me.

By the way Roger - I do love those Schaf links you put in your signature. Keep them coming!

Oops, sorry I meant Eddie Windass, who is the father (the darts 'pro', always hobbling about on a crutch). Gary is the ginger son, the ratboy; think a female version of Leanne Battersby back in the day, before she had a Road to Damacus transformation, and became the tart with a heart. Janice has caught the bug to, thinking of becoming a nurse-- what's that all about? Surprised Next Roy Cropper becomes a Satanist.

Thanks for the signature compliment... as I much as Sir Humph was a top bloke, I thought everyone would now like to forget about Dubya! Aye, I have a bit of a soft spot for T Schaf. There's just something endearingly cute about him... or is it just I who thinks that.. Embarassed

I'm glad you agree, sir. I quite savour my 13:26 BBC1 moment of a weekday-- shows the sort of life I lead. Even better is when he does the five-day forecast on Countryfile; when he dresses casually in tight jeans, revealing shirts and... and...

...and this has nowt to do with Coro Laughing

Not seeing anything in the Schaf (sorry Roger Wink ) give me RJC anyday. Smile Speaking of which did you know RJC played a gay man in New Street Law, he was the boyfriend of Chris Gascoyne's character! I just got the DVD.

I dont mind the Windass family - the storyline at the moment is interesting, dont really know which way Tina is going to go at the moment with David and Gary. I think the characters are more interesting than the Mortens who seemed very dull overall especially the 3 daughters. Also having only 4 characters (3 living on the street and one other) is better as it felt like there were too many Mortens.

Also worth noting its Carla's final week on Corrie - really going to miss her. She was excellent in both last Friday and last nights episodes.

Those shirts do show off his biceps nicely - obviously not a stranger to the gym. Having said that I still prefer Chris Fawkes.

Oh yeah, and Corrie's good at the moment too. Wink

Well of course nothing could beat your RJC, Jez; although he does have a ladyfriend by all accounts. Let's just say my and Gavin's liking for T Schaf would be less futile Wink Gavin, a treat for you heading to your inbox Laughing

Ah yes, Spencer for Hire: I'm told Chris Fawkes used to be a competitive swimmer back in the day, so 6ft 3in of athleticism for you Very Happy I've noticed he does have his fans-- not least his wife...

Anyway back to Coro (!) I take it Carla will be back, and is just on maternity leave? It will be interesting to see how they write her back in, when the time comes. I'm surprised they haven't done more with the new Rovers barmaid yet?
