Sorry but I thought tonights episode went too far! It was the worst I've seen in the 12 years I've been watching it.

I assume the quiz from tonights episode was filmed in Granada Manchester, but in the "Corrie" world they had to go to "Granada London" Very Happy

I really enjoyed tonights episode, LOL @ Amy picking out the tellytubby, shame we didnt see that on screen, also a shame due to the rubbish with Janice/Patrick/Jamie etc we didnt see more of the actual quiz show when they would have answered questions. WIth all the big storylines coming up (explosions etc) I felt tonights was nice and light hearted. Cant wait for tommorow's Laughing

9/10 for tonight's.

ITS A SOAP OPERA NOT A SITCOM!

I agree! I like the comedy moments in the show - thats what brings across the Northern humour, but please - putting them on a gameshow? Okay, It should have been mentioned they were going down to London to appear on a gameshow - but should NEVER have been screened - it was silly. Especially Steve getting the questions about shoes Rolling Eyes Mad

I don't think it can be put into either category, it handles both comedy and drama equally well. Tonight although a lighter episode, thought it was fab myself.

Now, did I see a picture of Eastenders Shane Ritchie in the background when they were all in that green room. Looked like a picture from his "Lucky Numbers" days !!!!

Yes it was a bit silly wasn't it but it was good none the less. That women was her of Hardware wasn't it.

I was wondering who they were going to get as the presenter. I half expected some real cheesy host like Ted Robbins or someone!

From tonight's episode, I guess again it was supposed to be a Monday cliff-hanger - although it is set on a Saturday.

In a TV first for the Rovers regulars, five of the episodes will be screened in real time, in the style of American drama thriller series 24.

Real time Corrie - sounds interesting. I guess alot of the material will focus on Maya and Dev though - and how come she gets bail - does she escape?

Great episode of Corrie last night, really liked Deirdre and Tracy's facial expressions when Steve was decided who to call, as well as Deirdre having to tell Ken about Dave's allegations...

I too spotted half a picture of Lucky Numbers, although Alf... I mean Shane Richie was never actually featured in shot Smile Funny enough, no pictures of late 1990s era Wheel of Fortune either Wink

Did spot a picture of Bruce Forsyth though.

Tonight's Corrie was another hilarious one with Steve trying to stop Karen see the game show by dragging her around the street. Best bit was when he went into the cab office and even Patrick Tussell was watching it on a mini TV. Not sure about Ken's TV blowing up though, what are the chances of that happening!

Did you all notice the ITV1 presentation airing on corrie, with back to back celeb idents making all kind of noises airing for minutes on end with an inane announcer talking every now and then!
