Don't wear out the emoticons now Steve.

Apparently the cross was moved because the floral arrangements they'd added would otherwise have obscured it. It was moved so it *could* be seen, and indeed *did* appear on screen.

But let's not let the facts get in the way of unnecessarily working middle England into yet another mythical, tabloid-fuelled 'political correctness gone mad' furore, shall we?

Erm yes, that was part of the storyline, to detract Maria. You should pay more attention to the storyline rather than looking for flaws that don't exist.

I would have been inclined to believe you if the BBC's North West Tonight hadn't have reported on it. I regard them as a reliable source.

Wow, congratulations to Coro. Perhaps they are planning something special for 50th anniversary instead-- hope so.

I guess the 7,000th episode isn't really the huge milestone it once might have been when you consider they get through 1,000 episodes every four years these days.

I'm looking forward to something big for the 50 year anniversary though.
