PS: Becky did a good bit of product-placement tonight, with the huge bottle of Strongbow cider! Not much effort made to hide the logo Laughing

Good episodes tonight, but I don't understand why the producers keep inviting back Margie Clarke. She does I suppose make Auntie Pam seem tolerable.

Margi's great.

I thought the scenes with Liz, Lloyd and Steve were brilliant tonight. Perhaps a bit silly when Steve "recognised that perfume" but funny nonetheless.

Yes when they were rowing, you felt you were on 'Only' Pam's side

Oh, I see Michelle is off to Ireland again Laughing

Yes, they were fantastic scenes - absolute classic Corrie, managing to give a dramatic situation genuine humour. In fact, both episodes were excellent last night, with some really good writing (did anyone notice who the writer was?). I was particularly amused by Liz being described as a 'piece of tail'. I think Simon Crowther wrote last nights second episode.

That's a rather simplistic view, dontchathink? People are (usually) more complex than that.

He wrote both last night. Definitely my favourite Corrie writer at the moment, alongside Jonathan Harvey.

its rather hypocritical of Steve tho to rant about his mum and Lloyd when both of them are single whilst he is having an affair behind his girlfriends back. What right has he to take the moral high ground? And the age gap between Liz and Lloyd isnt even that much as Michelle pointed out.

Just out of interest, what difference does it make whether or not they show the brand?

Actually the bottle did have a generic 'Strong Dry Cider' label though i did have to take a closer look as it did look like it had a Strongbow label on.
