I like Pam actually, quite surprised to see I'm in a significant minority in that respect.
I read in an interview with Kim Crowther where she said the Windass family have been brought in purely for this story with the Platts, and whether they stay beyond that remains to be seen.
I'm presuming something must be happening with Dev other than retailing food these days as I have to fast-forward through quite alot during some episodes.
Dev certainly isn't running all his other shops he's supposed to have... too busy braying at Amber, and fooling about with the daughter of the former Bollywood idol, whom he was previously fooling about with, the same lady who is married to Dev's 'mentor'.
Oof, perhaps you're wise to fast-foward after all.

Bit surprised that Ashley has a job vacancy at the butchers after he laid off Kirk just a few months back, credit crunch and all that. He must be expecting a Christmas rush.
I'd rather see Graeme in the butchers though has to be said.

It was also amusing when Graeme said he has worked in a large kitchen in a large "estalishment" and when Ashley asked Graeme if he had worked with knives before! lol But yes I had forgotten that Kirk had been laid off, business must have picked up then.
Carla and Tony do get married and Maria gets upset because Liam isnt there with her. Sally tells her Liam isnt worth her tears and gets Rosie to show her the clip of Liam and Carla kissing. Maria and Tom then work out that it was Tony who had Liam killed and Maria is determined to get evidence that he did it.
Also it hints that Tony will kill someone else over Christmas. It hints its Jed Stone. Wont be Maria as Samia isnt leaving.
But yes Corrie really seems to be hotting up and hopefully this years Christmas episode will be outstanding after the complaints people made about last years!
I have to say it has improved recently, and I'm actually looking forward to watching the programme again.
It's just a bit of a shame that the whole Tony Gordon storyline seems to be turning into a cynical 'we need another Hillman' plot.
Also, anyone know why Hayley was jet-lagged? I can't remember which country she was supposed to have been in, but Africa is at most only three hours ahead of us.
I'm sure he only did that so he appears on Harry Hill
This party storyline isn't one of the best, who is actually going? why are they partying when Liam isn't even cold, who wants to drink a pint with an A1 sized picture of Michelle's parents towering over them?!
