We'll be having mic booms coming into shot next.

Check five pages back. Wink

"We professionals notice - Joe Public never clocks a damn thing."
- that much overused term again... Laughing

You asked for it, 8:26 on this is. That Hans Geering has lost his German accent Wink

I suppose the volume at which Granada are expected to shoot episodes means that such minor errors are likely to creep in... but they do seem to be more frequent of late? They'll have to be careful, because they'll be stretching our suspension of disbelief somewhat...

I like the way they are writing the credit crunch into the soaps, with Tony's flats realisticaly not selling

Probably the first time in any soap that any financial matters are realistic in a soap Laughing

we'll probably only ever see Dev living in the flats, bit like the ones they built in 1968 which only housed the Barlows and Ena before being conveniently demolished in 1971.

I do Wink

didn't spot the mike in shot though

To be fair it was very near the top of the frame. If you've any kind of overscan on your telly you probably would have missed it.

well mikes in shot are nothing compaired to sunny on the terrace side when Fizz came out of her house, to raining when she crossed the road to talk to Sally Confused

May I mention a continuity error from Gavin and Stacey here which I noticed a few weeks ago but couldn't think of anywhere to put? Seeing as we're on the subject.

I like his style, almost like a young Peter Kay (sorry not you Jason Manford). Great line the other day, describing Tina to David: "Weird combination; looks like your girlfriend, sounds like your mother".

I rather like Graham. His "Cup of tea anyone?" line last night really made me laugh at such a moment of high tension. I think he's got potential to be a great character.

Incidentally, has Deirdre had to be written out for some reason at the moment? I just get the feeling that Blanche's lines in the whole Peter storyline were intended for Deirdre, with a distinct lack of her trademark wit and put-downs.

There have been some good additions to the cast in recent times following the culling of some of the dead wood.

There has been some good factory girls stuff recently, Julie I think has been a good addition to the cast.

Although I didn't really like the deliberate sign posting of Fiz's departure for South Africa which served no purpose other than to plug the DVD.

Yeah she said "Oh that's excellent news!" and even cracked a smile the other day.
