Corrie seems to have got much better this past 2 weeks, (with the Teresa stuff, and the Rosie/John stuff last night) after a quiet summer. And there is loads of good stuff to come by the looks of it.

I have to skim through the Dev scenes, so yesterday's episodes were the first ones I'd seen in full for many weeks. The John/Rosie issue could become quite complex if it's written well. I'd like to see the little minx get her comeuppance (although that's possibly what got her into trouble originally)
Other than that: I don't want to know about Emily's will, or Vernon's song, or those awful Bookies and whatever they get up to. I'd rather watch Sinbad choking on a kebab! His wife was a right laugh though ... they should've kept her!
Auntie Pam - Why?
Is she an extra that hangs around too long?
what was wrong with Rosie's teeth in the street scene with John after he'd let her out of the taxi
looked like she was wearing a pair of novelty fangs
I always love your little observations, they always make me smile. I think Granada ought to employ you to spot these things, you clearly have better eyes than the Street's producers To evoke another

What to do with Janice... gaffer-tape her mouth up?
I think Pam will be one of these transient characters; such as Yana, Doreen, Eric, Wilf, George and Ivor. No doubt Pam will disappear into the same black hole as them before too long. Speaking of which, what's happened to Monica?
Oh Peter Barlow is returning soon, with a newly-acquired son in tow. It turns out that Lucy (marriage rival to Shelley) has terminal cancel, and hands over their five-year-old son to Peter.
Except he's not keen on fatherhood, so turns to Ken and Deirdre for advice. Perhaps will get an explanation as to why Peter has a strong Notts accent as well

I agree totally Stuart. I've been finding Corrie completely missable at the moment.
After coming home from a two-week holiday abroad in July, I realised I'd not missed the programme in the slightest. I didn't bother watching any of the episodes I'd Sky+'d whilst away... and I think it took me another week until I started watching it again.
Since then, I've just found myself dipping in and out - only watching if I've nothing better to do. I find this quite sad in a way, as for most of my life I've never missed an episode.
I guess it's just a combination of too many episodes, and too many characters and storylines I don't care about. Two and a half hours a week is a big commitment for something which so much of the time seems to be no more than filler these days.
There are still flashes of genius, but you have to wade through so many mediocre, trivial scenes to get to them nowadays, and frankly I can't be bothered anymore.
Maybe it'll pick up, and I'll return to the fold soon, but for now I'm just a casual viewer and no longer the ardent fan I once was.
I never miss an episode and cant imagine ever stopping watching. It has its good and bad patches but its getting a lot better at the moment. However the bad news is Michelle is back on Friday
Im going on holiday next week but getting it recorded - thank goodness Liam doesnt die on the 3rd October like the spoilers originally suggested and i'll be back in time to see his exit on 17th October lol!
Last nights episode had the exit of Vernon - good riddance IMO.
A couple of dates for the other departing character
Jerry, Finlay and Kayleigh leave on 29th Sept
Mel on 3rd October
Teresa in early October
Liam on 17th October.
It seems Darryl is staying on a bit longer which is a good thing as he works well with David, Amber and Tina.
