Really cove that quote.

Don't laugh too hard in case you choke on your own macaroon.

Remember, Dr Wimley - the family doctor - is being blackmailed in the Sudan.

Tsk... men!

Never mind, you can't break an omelette without making eggs... eating eggs...

I sometimes think being a widow, is God's way of telling you to come off the Pill...

Back to the price of eggs: What's the money on John having another affair, if he gets back together with Fiz? John and Eileen perhaps... hmm..

And what was that horrible noise? It sounded like somebody being electrocuted by a faulty steam iron!

he found her will which he read and some photos Ernest took of Rita. he told Rita who was concerned why Emily should put the photos in with her will. She asked Emily who had found the old photos but accidentally put them in with her will.

now she is changing her will because Noris knows she was going to leave the house to him

Thanks.

liked the 'implied violence' in last night's episode.

of course nobody is going to spot Teresa hobbling out of the ladies with a broken shoe from where somebody has been bludgeoned in the head with a high heel Confused

I know that not many fanfics or ideas are posted here i think, but here are my ideas in the week leading up to Christmas day.

Friday 19th December, 7.30pm
Kevin is angry after the fire has destroyed his business so close to Christmas. He knows that Tony is behind it, but as usual can’t prove anything. Seeing how depressed her dad has become, Rosie decides its time to turn on Tony. As the night draws in, Tony gives Rosie a lift to his flat to finish off some work. As the drink gets flowing, Rosie makes her move.

Elsewhere Norris and Rita get a visit from council health and safety officials over the cabin’s Christmas decorations. Julie locks everyone out of the house as her OCD cleaning takes over her life. Blanche receives an early Christmas present, a Dictaphone.

Friday 19th December, 8.30pm
Tony is fast asleep in bed, with Rosie beside. She gets out of bed and heads into the living room where she adds a date rape drug to her drink and downs it. Making herself look scraggy, she heads out of the door and lays near Tony’s car in the car park. As dawn breaks, Carla arrives back from her business trip and discovers Rosie in a bad way on the floor.

She is taken to hospital for a check up, where Rosie reveals to Carla’s astonishment that Tony raped her. Sally and Kevin rush to the hospital and Kevin flips when he hears what has happened. The police attempt to arrest Tony on suspicion of rape, but will Carla tip him off?

Also on the street, Fiz tells Kirk that she needs to get help, or she can leave for good. Becky and Michelle go Christmas shopping much to Steve’s annoyance. Blanche begins to keep a record of life on the street.

Monday 22nd December, 7.30pm
Rita stands defiant in the wake of the order to bring down the Christmas decorations. Norris is starting to waver due the consequences, but John sets up a petition for everyone to sign in support of the Cabin decorations.

Rosie keeps up her act as she arrives back home. Tony is questioned by police and with no alibi, things don’t look good. The results come back showing that Rosie had been given a date rape drug. He is charged and remanded in custody. Carla is in two minds over what has happened, and is unsure weather to stand by her man.

Monday 22nd December, 8.30pm
Ken and Deirdre arrive back from visiting Tracy in prison. With Blanche fast asleep, they listen to Blanches Dictaphone. Deirdre is touched by the comments her mum has made about her, but comments about Ken put a smile on both of their faces.

Rosie puts on a brave face around the house as Sally says she is going to resign from Underworld. Kevin hopes justice is done the proper way, or he will do it himself. Rosie tells her dad that he will most likely go to prison. Carla sits away in her flat drinking wine from a bottle.

On the television news, there is a report that Tony has escaped from custody while he was being transferred.

Wednesday 24th December, 7pm
Christmas Eve on the street puts a spring in the step of Becky and Jason as they prepare for their first Christmas together. Emily is disappointed to discover her Christmas pudding has been stolen. Norris becomes detective to find the culprit.

The Webster’s are unaware that Tony has escaped from custody. Bill heads off the pub with Kevin while Rosie assures everyone that she is ok. As the night draws in, Rosie and Sally are sitting watching television, unaware that Tony is the back garden, preparing to enter. The phone rings and Sally answers. It’s a police officer saying that they should be alert because of Tony disappearing. They hear a bang at the back of the house, and coming out from the dark, Tony enters the living room.

Even if Theresa gets away with decking that young lady, it's in all in vain:

Mel overhears Sinbad and Theresa arguing about her poisoning his food. Mel wades in, and arrests Theresa for attempted murder.

Oh, and after Fiz rejects John's advances, he takes Rosie for a dangerous joyride in his taxi. I thought he was being too repentant.

BTW: Thanks for those clips Gavin, much appreciated; makes Moving Wallpaper/Echo Beach pale in comparison.

It's certainly sounds like a genuine Picasso, but I'll have to look to be sure.

Apparently Rob James Collier filmed his final scenes on Friday, so Liam's exit will be within the next 4-6 weeks!

Im looking forward to finally seeing what happens, its been a long time coming, even tho he is one of my favourite characters

Spoiler tagged that just incase but im sure everyone knows.

like the fantasy Corry Christmas One Trick

only snag is that if Rosie cried rape she would have to go through a medical examination which would prove that Tony had been nowhere near her (no DNA evidence, to put it politely)

They went to bed at the end of the previous episode, so she had slept with him, willingly, and then takes the date rape drug. I know its only fatasy, shame lol.

The actress who plays Mel can use that scene in her showreel when she goes for a job on The Bill Laughing
