The will actually said that she was leaving the house to Norris, which I found odd given that she has a nephew, and a niece.

Did we ever find out what was actually in Emily's will? I assume she was leaving everything to her nephew Spider? If it was ever mentioned then I must've missed it.

That explains why he's gutted at the thought of her changing it then. It does seem odd to leave your home to the lodger; it's not as though Norris hasn't got his own money, and half a business. It would be more sensible just to allow him to live there until he died (he wouldn't be that far behind Emily, surely).

I look forward to Betty walking back and forth very slowly from the Rovers' kitchen taking food orders, and slopping Hot Pot on the floor.
"That sounds like Miss Betty's signature dish, I can smell her hotpot from a mile away!"
"My hotpot luvvy? Err... urmm... it's the kitchen, it's been on a low light since this morning Miss Liz" [Sean picks up phone in background, without it ringing first]
Of course Victoria Wood has written an episode of Coro before

Really cove that quote.
Don't laugh too hard in case you choke on your own macaroon.
Remember, Dr Wimley - the family doctor - is being blackmailed in the Sudan.

he found her will which he read and some photos Ernest took of Rita. he told Rita who was concerned why Emily should put the photos in with her will. She asked Emily who had found the old photos but accidentally put them in with her will.
now she is changing her will because Noris knows she was going to leave the house to him

Could someone bring me up to date regarding the contents of Emily's brown envelope? I haven't watched Corrie since Norris initially made the discovery.
