I didn't mind the appeal of Vernon singing, it just went on to long I thought and rendered the whole thing awful in my opinion.

Corrie really is hit and miss at the moment, after Monday's dire double bill tonight's was excellent from Julie and Kelly drunk in the Rovers to Becky coming to Roy's defence. Enjoyed the scenes with Sean and Tom, I can kind of relate to how Sean feels. Nice to have a mention of Canal St too as my fag hag and I were there last month LOL! Laughing

The stuff with Mel and her friend looks like it could be a decent storyline too.

Yeah I agree tonight's was a bit better, no doubt because it was written by Jonathan Harvey who always manages to cobble together a decent episode no matter how poor a storyline is.

Liked the brief Norris - Rita scenes too as well as the Sean and Tom stuff; erm.. he is gay isn't he, or have I got it wrong? Sorry if I sound dimwitted or anything but I missed some of this scene.. I got the impression he was saying he was straight to 'cover up' the fact he was, or something like that.

I thought the Tom and Sean scenes were painful to be honest. It makes absolutely no sense for Tom to now be straight after acting as if he was gay in the last few episodes.

Some people are like that though, perhaps one push came to shove he couldn't go through with 'coming out' to Sean.

I imagine quite alot of people would suddenly become 'straight' when faced with Sean's advances. Wink

And I'm sure some would take anything they could take, Stuart. Laughing

No I think he is straight. Sean's reaction was just typical Sean having a hissy fit.

I noted that too... a writer has been taking inspiration from Frankie Boyle clearly. Perhaps we'll have jokes about the Scottish football team or bestality next Wink
