I notice the Corrie omnibus is not in the schedule next Saturday afternoon on ITV1, so I expect it's gone and folk will have to make do with the multiple opportunities to catch up on ITV2.

So instead, a 2 hour Inspector Morse on Saturday afternoon. How original. Rolling Eyes

Where on earth did they find that awful dingy new wallpaper for the Barlows? And another new display cabinet! I thought the hall looked different on recent shots into the outdoor set too, I think it was light green stripes before.

Are they just trying to make Ken Barlow the most boring character in soap or what Mad

Tonights episode was great with Deirdre begging Mike to drop the charges against Tracy Lve, and as always in times of crisis Deridre was seen smoking a ciggie. Laughing

...and of course the veins in her neck were working overtime!

By the way, did anyone else feel slightly queasy when Deirdre was on her knees in front of Mike Baldwin and Penny walked in wondering what they were up to? The slightest suggestion that Deirdre might have been performing an act of oral love upon Mike is even more unpleasant than seeing her in bed with Dev. Pale

Even some of the scriptwriters have picked up on Warren's incomprehensible annunciation (as shown in a couple of recent scenes with Candice). They should give the actor some time off to get some elocution lessons, and a few acting lessons wouldn't go amiss.

Did Fizz mean what I think she meant when she asked Kirk to go and fetch a pickled egg from the chippy because she "had something to move before tonight".... eeeeuk! Very funny though!

Actually maybe they have told Warren to talk like that so they can have scenes like that with Candice not understanding him!

The final scene was great tonight, Gail is always great in those type of scenes - Gail force 8 at least!

Indeed about Warren I don't know which part of London you come from to talk like that. He makes Ashley Peacock sound normal!. Let's hope Harry Hill takes the mick in his new series.

Talking about Ashley the business about fitting the wedding in between traffic problems on the M6 and a run on spring lambs was hilarious. August 2007 it is then!

Indeed also about Gail. Loved it when common Cilla shouted out that they were lowering the tone. I thought David was a bit surplus to requirements though. I used to like Sarah and David and their good acting but since they turned into mini-Gails they've gone downhill

Oh and finally didn't Maria look good in that school uniform...... Wink

Talking of Ashley, he came out of the house wearing nothing but a pair of boxers, and its flippin OCTOBER and freezing!

Cilla up at the window reminded me of Hilda, she always used to do that!

What about those fantastic lines from earlier in the week, when Sean needed more "Henna for the Hindu hen-do" and Shelley was looking for "oil for her Lazy Susan"?! Great writing, as always.

He's actually got a surprisingly buff little bod as well. I almost found myself fancying him last night. Embarassed
