Tony would probably have the babies working as slaves: "When I was your age young man/lady, I was working down the docks 14 hours a day, for next to nothing-- it made me the man I am today".

Decent episodes last night, but the whole Steve/Michelle thing is starting to grate on me-- Steve's rampant ego and Michelle's constant griping.

And Ryannnnn has returned from Ireland to mope around, grunt a few times whilst playing on his X-box; before returning to the Emerald Isle for another long stay Wink

Wanda Opalinska and Jane Danson are also both pregnant so with them and Alison King that will be 3 characters being written out for a significant period.

Jane Danson pregnant again!

What is it with celebs & rapid pregnancies in succession?

You get used to the character/actress being back after one, then whoopm, off they go again!

Who's this Wanda woman? Can't place her.

Only 4 episodes week commencing 24th August apparently - Sunday, Monday x2 and Wednesday. This is due to Football on Friday.

I imagine then they'll catch up with an episode the next Sunday.

It would be interesting to know how ITV's Sunday ratings compare this year to last summer. The schedule changes were declared a hit in the winter as Dancing on Ice papered over the cracks (even though it left a massive hole on Saturday nights), but since then I think ITV have been missing their Sunday soaps to hook people into the schedule - and they're not really getting any benefit from keeping an audience on Friday nights after the 8.30pm Corrie.

Now I don't know if it's Media Guardian getting confused, or just me, but according to this page there was a hour long Coronation Street episode on Saturday? So they'll actually be 2 episodes ahead at the moment.

ITV1 also did well on Saturday with the first of a new three-part series of Who Wants to be a Millionaire? Celebrity specials, with a Coronation Street instalment drawing 6.5 million viewers and a 30% share between 8.30pm and 9.30pm.

I think someone misread that then.
