the view over the salon was used just after the peacocks fire, you can see the patched up roof

and the salon / cab office building looks tiny, how do they fit two business and two flats in there. Confused

talking of the Cab office the stair case inside is the wrong way round because on the outside the door to Lloyd's flat is on the corner of the building facing Rosamund Street whereas on the inside that corner is under the staircase in the cab office

I should have been an architect Rolling Eyes

Well spotted that man Laughing

Speaking of Lloyd, Steve should give him a pay-cut. You hardly ever see him driving a taxi these days.

Or has his taxi disappeared to the same Coronation St Bermuda Triangle as Monica the dog and Amy?

And all of the cars they're supposed to have, like Ashley and Claire's, Ken and Diedre's and Kevin and Sally's...

Nice that they mentioned Hilda and Irma Ogden in tonights episode although im sure Reet would have known that Irma was Hilda's daughter without asking Ken. It was nice they they remembered that Irma Barlow was married to Ken's brother.

Also I find it hard to believe that painting had been in the loft since Irma left Corrie in the early 1970s and had never been found until now. Both Susie Birchall and Hilda were in the loft in 1978 for a start!

But nice to have a mention of old character none the less.

The stuff with Teresa and Sally was good.

I thought that was a bit over the top personally but I agree it was nice Hilda and Irma were mentioned.

Yet again it's a pitty the Mortons are going, Daryl read my mind when he said 'What's she come as' regarding Rosie

Sinbad's wife was over the top, but it was funny with Sally saying 'what's he going to do, sit on me'

Both Lloyd and Steve are self-employed as co-owners of Street Cars. In fact, all mini-cab drivers are self employed.

(Mini-cab drivers actually have to pay the cab firm bosses for the rental of their in-car radio communicators.)

Steve should give Michelle a pay cut too, she hardly ever does any work in the bar and swans in and out as she pleases!

Well pointed out! Smile Although as you may have guessed, I was being facetious... the flaws of blithe occasion and all that Wink

According to the papers, Jed Stone is to re-appear, once again played by Kenneth Cope. He is a resident threatened with eviction, due to Tony's flat developments

Yep, swans around as if she owns the place, who the hell does she think she is! I really dislike Michelle at the moment.

I agree, it's almost as if she's trying the be the new Bet Lynch.

I also liked Carla's throw away comment about the possibility of Steve having paid Leanne for sex, which left me chuckling:
"I bet she has a chip and PIN machine in her handbag" Laughing

I enjoyed that line - and Liz's: She may have been addicted to drugs and been a prostitute but there's a good girl deep down.
