Caught a glimpse of the opening titles this evening. Could somebody tell me if the director's name "ILLY" is a p***-take?

No it's not. It was discussed the first time he directed back in November 2007 IIRC.

What the hell is his real name then? It's a bit unproffessional to put a nickname on a programme's credits.

If that's what he wants to be known as professionally, I don't see any problem. Either way it's really not worth getting so wound up over.

Can't say I agree with you on that, but I'll leave it there.

How about Becky? (although obviously not anywhere near as good a character as Elsie Tanner was)

Possibly Eileen too. A strong character who's no-nonsense, but has vulnerable side (as seen with the baby Holly story).

I think the likes of Elsie are unrepeatable in a way .

Noticed some new break stings on Friday night's episodes. Are all of these new?

Incidentally, do we think that the Rovers smoking shelter is in breach of the regulations ?

I thought that under the legislation a smoking shelter couldn't have more than 50% of the perimeter made up of one or more walls and must have at least half of it's sides completely open ?

I've heard a rumour that Coronation isn't non-fiction.

Laughing

I'd seen the Roy's Rolls sting but none of the others until Friday.

the view over the salon was used just after the peacocks fire, you can see the patched up roof

and the salon / cab office building looks tiny, how do they fit two business and two flats in there. Confused

talking of the Cab office the stair case inside is the wrong way round because on the outside the door to Lloyd's flat is on the corner of the building facing Rosamund Street whereas on the inside that corner is under the staircase in the cab office

I should have been an architect Rolling Eyes
