I see David is due out next week

talking of releasing from HM accommodation isn't it time Angie Harris was?

corrie is an hour tonight, any idea why?

It appeared to be a proper 1 hour as well, not just 2 episodes stuck together. I think it was because of the storyline with Jerry tonight?

ITV seem to be informing the Corrie team of scheduling decisions well in advance - all the hour long eps, doubles, episodes moved from Friday to Sunday etc. have been proper individual episodes intended to be aired on that day rather than what it used to be like a few years ago when you'd have an episode meant for Sunday airing on the Monday and it being very obvious that it was airing on the wrong night.

Excellent programme last night, is this the end of Jerry?

I know many won't agree with me as they made their minds up months ago, but the Mortons were really good tonight and it's a shame they are being axed, Jerry and Daryll particularly

By the way, I've wondered this for ages, when does the storyline of Lloyd being Finlay's real dad start? Laughing

next week

and they leave the week after Laughing

joking!

but they are a bit late with that storyline if they are axing the family anyway.

aparently lots of their stories got axed in favour of other character storys

Replaced with more spine-tinlging storylines such as Ryan and Alex [zzz]

I think Coro has had a good week this week, some real pearlers. Kirk advising Chesney to chew a matchstick for composure, and lamenting his ex who used shampoo with strawberry/coconut scent.

Julie reading a newspaper upside down. Ken and Roger discussing literary and historic greats. Becky's smothering of Jason. Deidre's and Janice's bitchfest. Sophie's precocious quips. Noris and Rita with the CCTV. And Tina being... well... Tina.

I think it's great that Coro has brought back more humour; equally there has been good drama with the hoodies and Jerry's subsequent heart-attack.

Have to agree, its been a cracking week on the street, some of the best episodes in ages! I must say I can't help but 'ahh' at Chez/Kaylie storyline.I look forward to next weeks action.

A bit of error on Corrie last night. When Steve and Dan started their race on the Street they went to Rosamund Street. Steve turned right and Dan left. The only way for Dan to go would then be via Victoria Street which is currently closed due to tye construction work on the flats.

I have to agree that the episodes this week have been very good. I dis enjoy Rita, Norris and Emily checking themselves out on the CCT.

Did I imagine it or was Kirk's 'girlfriend', who he named to Chesney, also referred to later in the show when someone was reading from a newspaper. The girl had won the lottery or something? But none of the characters made the connection.

you mean Kirk's ex girlfriend has won the lottery but why would the mortons make that connection.

don't get why Daryl was reading the paper to his dad , he'd had a heart attack, he wasn't in a coma Confused

Your right - I just heard Darryl read out her name on the omnibus edition! Smile

Anyone notice all the mentions of places in Manchester in Wednesday's episode? - Julie mentioned the Trafford Centre, Kirk the Arndale Centre and Mel said she was taking the kids to the science museum and entry was free.

Quite. But why put it in. Was it a subtle piece of scriptwriting. Was it an in-joke? Or did they require a made-up name twice in the script and accidentally pick the same name twice? Corrie's not supposed to be deep Smile
