Tonights episode was very good, nice to see Liz and Andy back, and the whole explanation of what went on with Tracy.

Though I thought Granada Plus' installment was very funny and well done today, especially with the whole thing with Steve's licence, though there were a couple of other things I noticed, it was the second appearance of the Police Officer played by the guy who played Butch Dingle in Emmerdale and it was also the first appearance of Fiona Middleton too, I never realised she was in the programme so early!

Yes it was good when Steve told Andy everthing all in one go! Im glad the writer remembered that Deirdre was Liz's best mate, and now Deirdre/Ken have been invited to the wedding they will be there for Tracy's big announcement. Looking forward to Sunday and Monday's episodes, it should be great.

Yes it was good today on G+, that Carmel is creepy though isnt she, fancy telling people that David and Sarah-Lou are her own kids, and she managed to talk her way out of it too when Gail asked her. Sally is on to her though Very Happy
Yes I remember seeing the actor that played Butch in Emmerdale as a police officer in Classic Corrie not so long ago.
I was quite suprised to see Fiona too as I thought it was 1993 when Fiona arrived, but it was obviously very late in 1992. Maxine doesnt turn up until 1995 storylines though.

Personally, I find the episodes on Plus a bit too recent for my liking. I'd rather see a bit of Stan, Hilda, Eddie Yeats and the like... but maybe I'm getting old. Sad

I agree, it would be nice to see some 70s Corrie on Plus, but they have shown 1976-1992 so far. It does seem recent, but still over 11 years ago, much older than the Emmerdale episodes they show which are barely 4 years old, now that really is *too* recent.

The trouble with showing a repeat run of Corrie is there are over 5000 episodes so its difficult to pick a point to start from, I think Plus did well in picking 1976 but obviously now they are catching up and are already almost at 1993.

Great ep tonight.

Corrie really is going to get huge ratings - the wedding is played out over 4 episodes! By the final one, if it's cliffhangers all the way, I think we could be looking at about 16,17 or perhaps even 18 million as a climax on Wednesday.

This is what I love about Corrie - small stories get their Monday, but this is big, like Richard Hillman. It's rare - but it gets practically a week to itself, it really gets you excited, unlike EE, which seems to have REALLY melodramatic stories every week, which in the end dulls it..

What a good episode tonight, cant wait for tommorow's double bill now! I liked the cliffhanger with Tracy annoucing she was going to the wedding to get the baby back

Karen looked nice in her wedding dress, but did you see Liz's outfit.

The only boring part was Maria/Nick, I mean does anyone really care if they get a house/flat or whatever - YAWN!

Nick, Maria and Gail are startting to annoy me now, plus what was up with Nick's shirt tonight? What was on it?

The wedding looks really good tomorrow, I enjoyed the Blanche / Tracy bits, they were good. It's just it is going to be ages until the wedding, its a shame they didn't put it on Valentines Day, would have made good Saturday night viewing.
