Thought id post a link to these April spoilers on the ITV website rather than copy and paste them here, then no-one can complain ive spoiled their viewing! Wink

So what do people think?

[SPOILER] I really hope that whatever happens with David it will be the final piece to this chapter of Demon David. With Tina, there's a real chance that the character can grow - grow up - and become more rounded and lasting (they'll burn out the character if he continues like this). Then perhaps we can see a little less of the Platts for a while - and more of a lighter side of them for a change.

Yes - massive relief to see no mention of Michelle/Ryan etc.

Let's hope April will be the turning point for what has been a dismal few months.

wonder if fizz moving into number 5 is a way of getting her and kirk back together.

'how will Fizz feel moving back into number 5'

not much considering she's never lived there.

good continuity cock up at the end, after the social worker has driven off in her car the final shot of fizz is over the same car Confused

From All About Soap;

Bye Bye Baldwin!

Danny Baldwin will not be returning to Coronation Street after actor Bradley Walsh was released from his contract. Bradley was due to come back for a short time but he delayed his return to star in panto and now wont be appearing at all. We'd still love to see his missus, Frankie, back one day, though......

Hmm, well they might want Frankie back but I certainly dont. Although they always said Danny would return right from when it was announced he was going I think it was always quite unlikely, especially as time went on, so I wasnt surprised to read that.

But with no Danny and now Liam also going too....... Sad

Indeed lots of good lines tonight especially from Blanche. Roy and Becky also make an excellent double act.

Nice to see Leanne have a bigger part too.

Oh yeah Enders was a barrel of laughs tonight.
Can't argue about Corrie though. I somehow think Becky and Roy living together could bring about some good rib ticklers.

It's a shame they had to provide another pointless "padding" scene for Dev. If he's not making ridiculous animal sounds he's being pseudo-camp. He's become irritating beyond bearable now.

Yeah, and also the fact he keeps turning up to the restaurant to annoy Amber now she's not working at the shop. Maybe this is building up to something but I don't hold out much hope somehow. Even if he's playing the role of a spare part - to many viewers he's a spare part, so annoying either way.

It's a shame because in real life hes a great guy. He had such a good comic factor when he first entered the street, along with great drama, for example, the 'Mad Myer' plot.

You know him very well then, do you?

No he wasn't, and the 'Mad Maya' plot was entirely carried by Sasha Behar's excellent portrayal. That storyline was more than 3 years ago; Dev hasn't had a purpose on the street since, aside from the odd stupid golfing episode and a completely unjustified reason to hang around only one of his shops despite employing staff to run it (oh, and stupid animal sounds).

Up until Leanne's current storyline started unfolding hadn't we been led to believe that she was happy and business was thriving? Now all of a sudden she's thoroughly miserable and business is poor. Rolling Eyes

Also, social services in Weatherfield....wtf? The Butchers could've taken Chesney and conducted a more thorough investigation.
