Looks like Corrie's getting some new 'luxury' flats being built by the butchers:

Which means even more characters will now be living on the street set. I bet Carla, Dev and possibly The bookies will move into one of these flats. Its better to have some characters living away from the street set, apart from a handful of character everyone lives and works within the same 2 streets.

There are already empty properties across the road from the Builder's Yard.

Perhaps they would bury Dev in the foundations of "Victoria Court" and do us all a favour.

Laughing Where's Richard Hillman when you need him?

The reason we have got a huge cast in Coro, is that we haven't got Where The Heart Is to ship them off too anymore-- still Waterloo Road is looking good these days.

I believe Jamie and Violet are leaving (along with Lauren?). I should imagine they'll get a new home somewhere else, away from that wan... erm.. sperm-donor Sean.

Agreed. When he first came in the programme I actually found him quite humorous, though now I can't stand him. I also agree with the comments on here about the "state" of Corrie: I often find myself having it on in the background nowadays, rather than sitting down to watch a full episode.

Whilst I'm on the subject - I'm absolutely sick to the back teeth of watching this whole Ryan - Alex carp. I personally feel that this (and other) storylines could have been turned around in a more interesting and dramatic direction compared to what is being shown on screen. It's annoying me to the point of admitting that Corrie is becoming more missable rather than unmissable. Sorry if I sound negative, but that's how I feel about it at the moment.

I think most of us agree with you exactly - I certainly only watch it now if I catch it, rather than making a point to watch it. More a case now of making a point not to watch it actually.

I'm the same. Sad really. I basically try and catch the Monday double and if it's not up to scratch I don't bother with the rest of the week. It's more of a chore now, not the entertainment it's meant to be.

He must be liked by some people as TV Times had him on the front cover last week. Nobody on internet forums seems to like him though

Maybe the editor of TV Times likes him?

No, don't be sorry - you are absolutely right.

Tonight's double-bill was looking ok until the 2nd episode - why the f*ck were we subjected to YET MORE of the Alex stuff - ruined what (apart from the Bookies yawnathon) could've been a couple of better than (recent) average episodes... Evil or Very Mad

I liked Liz's line on seeing Violet's waters breaking over the pub upholstery, "It's a good job we're redecorating..." Laughing

I think Violet should have had the baby next Friday as it's Feb 29th

continuity time Rolling Eyes

Jamie had the car parked outside number 12 and was on the phone to Violet in the pub yard. As she finishes she drops the phone and the scene changes to two people exiting the pub and crossing the street with no sign of Jamie's car parked at the bottom Confused
